Being a culture that spends a lot of time driving or on the computer in a rounded position, we all need backbending poses! Backbends open the shoulders, chest, heart, and groins, strengthen the back, and increase heat in the body. Learn the essential actions of standing, kneeling, supine, and prone backbends.
Learn detailed alignment and techniques, benefits of the postures, and basic anatomy to deepen your understanding of yoga
Enhances any yoga style, at any level, and particularly good for beginners
Simple yoga philosophy rounds out the physical practice
