The Foundations of
Forward bending
with Connie Habash
A continuation of the FOUNDATIONS SERIES...
Forward bends are some of the most difficult poses, especially for beginners. They lengthen the hamstrings and gently open the back of the spine while soothing the nervous system. Some compress the belly, while others additionally open the inner thighs and calves. We’ll work in detail with the essential standing and seated forward bending poses (including Downward Facing Dog).
