Outdoor Ecotherapy Release Form
Welcome to the new opportunity of exploring outdoor Ecotherapy sessions. This letter will inform you of what you need to know to be prepared and comfortable for our time together. We may meet in Huddart Park, a beautiful redwood forest in Woodside, or choose another nearby location.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS and let me know if you have any questions? Contact Rev. Connie
Clothes: Dress comfortably and in layers, as the forest can be up to 10 degrees cooler than out in the sun. Tennis shoes or comfortable walking shoes are fine, as we usually won’t be walking very far. If it’s rained recently, choose shoes that you don’t mind getting a little muddy.
Please bring:
- a snack (if you think you’ll need it)
- water
- any medications you may need, (if you have allergies, make sure to take your medication beforehand)
- a journal and pen
- sunscreen
- insect repellant
- a hat
- a pad or a camp chair (to sit on if sitting on a blanket or mat that I provide isn’t sufficient, or you don’t want to sit on the ground).
- A daypack is helpful to carry it all so your hands are free, but not a necessity. There may be bathrooms nearby – we will need to check current regulations at the location we choose.
***Plan to arrive 10 minutes early so you make sure to find our meeting spot. There is cell phone connection and text availability in the park. If you have any problems finding me or the park, you can call my cell: 650-996-2649
Before you come, there are two forms – the ecotherapy release form (below), and the COVID-19 release form (where you’ll be taken next). Please make sure you fill out both of them
Thank you, and I look forward to sharing the gifts of ecotherapy with you!
