Spend a day in community as we attune to nature, feel our connection to the Divine, and experience the energy of Creation awakening within us.
Set in a secluded, idyllic farm in Half Moon Bay, with a year-round creek, pond, flowers, and hiking trails, it is easy to feel deeply connected to the natural world and your Divine Self.
Our retreat includes yoga and meditation, deep nature connection, large and small group activities, and immersing in the energies of this sacred land and the lively energy of spring.
There is time to relax, too, while feasting on a delicious vegetarian lunch.
Limited partial work-trade scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance, and you may also donate to the scholarship fund to support them.

Katie Hicks leads the kid’s program. She began her journey in the fossil-laden creeks of southern Indiana. As a teen and young adult she spent six years attending the W.I.L.D. (Wilderness Immersion Leadership Development) program where she slept monthly in primitive shelters through rain and snow, studied scouting, bird language, and natural history, and went on 2 3-day group survival trips carrying only a knife and living off the land. She spent a year training with deep nature connection leaders Jon & Nicole Young and was lead instructor for their all-ages village-style nature immersion program in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Katie continues to work as a deep nature connection mentor in Santa Cruz. On her free time she can be found on California’s wild coasts swimming with harbor seals or exploring through huckleberry patches. She is passionate about singing, fiddling, dancing, and making fun mischief in nature with people young and old.
Our wonderful chef for our lunch’s vegetarian feast, Laura Stec is passionate about local farmers, the seasons and the connections between a healthy people, community, and the earth. She is author of Cool Cuisine: Taking the Bite Out of Global Warming, emphasizing that our food choices effect the well-being of the planet. She loves using high-vibe, organic, seasonal ingredients in her culinary delights.
