Anxiety is on the rise in our culture. Our spiritual life should help calm us, not increase our stress, fear, and overwhelm! From her book, Awakening from Anxiety: A Spiritual Guide to Living a More Calm, Confident, and Courageous Life, Rev. Connie will share common errors spiritual people make in their mindset and the way they approach their spiritual practices.  These mis-takes can actually increase our anxiety.  A few pointers from Yoga philosophy and universal spiritual principles help us shift out of overwhelm and upset, and back to calm within.

We’ll spend time in discussion about these mis-takes that Rev. Connie brings to our awareness, and explore practical applications of yoga philosophy, ancient wisdom, and simple exercises to gently reawaken our inner peace when we’re stressed out.

In this 2-hour workshop, you will:

  • Become aware of the misunderstanding of spiritual principles, misapplication of practices, and mindsets that can increase stress and anxiety
  • Understand how to shift out of these mis-takes into more ease, calm, and confidence
  • Gain knowledge and skills for yourself and your clients and students who struggle with stress and anxiety, even in their spiritual practices
