Level 2 Yoga Downloads – Chakra Series

Chakra ClassThe seven chakras (literally, “wheels”) are the main energy centers in the body according to yoga philosophy.  They reside in our energetic field, the Pranamayakosha, and are generally aligned with the spine and cranium.  Each class focuses on one or more chakras, with specific postures, movements, mudras (gestures), mantras, and even visualizations (such as color and form) particular to that chakra.  Then, the theme of that energy center and its physical location becomes the focus of the practice.  Each chakra governs essential aspects of life.
